Prescription Google Glass lenses coming in January 2014

Google Glass review

Google Glass, the head-mounted wearable computer, will now support prescription lenses after teaming up with Tim Moore from Rochester Optical.
The announcement by Moore on Google+ states, "We're happy to finally let you in on this exciting news. One of the first wearable technology items Rochester Optical will be producing are custom prescription, fashion, and sport lenses for Google Glass, available for purchase in early 2014."
Moore will join the research & development team in wearable technology at Rochester Optical following his role as founder of Venture Glass, a wearable technology company chosen by Google for their Google Glass project.
According to Mashable, Moore has stated that they could be selling these prescription lenses in January at the latest.
The lenses will reportedly sell at the same price as normal prescription lenses and will come in matching colours in accordance with the colour of their device.
Moore stated that Google are not involved in the project in any way.
In a report last month it was stated that Google are preparing to increase production of Google Glass in the months leading up to Christmas even though the company are not planning to sell Glass to the public until next year.
